“It’s not often you find a board certified veterinary surgeon who’s superior skills are only equaled by her level of compassion, but Dr Heather Millard is that rare individual. It’s never easy when you have a dog that needs to undergo an urgent surgery, but on the recommendation of my Critical Care doctor who examined my girl, we had Dr Millard perform the surgery. Between the post surgery update call, calls/texts about medicines, and a handful of communications during the first several days she was at home recuperating, I was amazed at both the rapid progress of my pup and astonished at how responsive and concerned Dr Millard continued to be. This stuff is so stressful and we feel just so fortunate to have had someone with Dr Millard’s level of skill and compassion to lean on and help our girl get better.
