Surgery Veterinary Assistant
Mackenzie has finished her first-year at Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine. She grew up in southwest Kansas in a very small town named Bucklin. She lived on a ranch with her parents and older brother, where they raised cattle and grew crops. She completed her undergraduate studies at Kansas State, graduating summa cum laude in 3 years with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and Industry. After veterinary school, she plans to pursue an internship and residency and become a Small Animal Board-Certified Veterinary Surgeon.
Mac’s 2-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Cheddar, is the light of her life. Cheddar adores snicky snacks, playing tug of war, anything that smells like bacon, lounging on the couch, watching cow videos on YouTube, and going on walks.
Mac spends summers and holidays with PVSS.
