Laparoscopic Gastropexy
A gastropexy is a surgical procedure designed to help prevent gastric dilatation-volvulus (GDV), commonly known as bloat.
Laparoscopic gastropexy allows the procedure to be performed through small incisions while providing the same preventative goal.
For dogs at increased risk of GDV, a gastropexy can be an important preventative procedure.
